Who We Are

Vic Corda, owner of The Cabinet Doctor, was a professional painter and decorator until 1980 when a woman called to say that her husband had ruined their kitchen cabinets and could he do something, anything to repair the damage.

Because of his knowledge and experience with paint and stains, Vic successfully stripped the cabinets and then refinished them. The lady was delighted, told all of her friends, and several of them contracted Vic to refurbish their kitchens.

Soon after, Vic became too busy with this new kitchen cabinet venture to also operate his painting business, so he turned the painting and decorating business over to his son.

Vic alone updated over 700 kitchens before seeking a helper for the demand. Tom’s background is in fine carpentry and finishing, and together they are true artisans. Both Vic and Tom share a pride in producing an outstanding product.

The Cabinet Doctor is not a franchise, and does not subcontract. We are a family owned and operated business and yes, we do make house calls.
